This was the first time we have had a "live" competition at the club since the start of the Covid pandemic and Nick Berentzen, our judge for the evening, had a lot of work to do as there were thirteen prints and fifty–seven dpis to judge and comment on. Congratulations to the high scores, commiserations to the other entrants and thanks to Nick for sharing his expertise and time with us.

The Strictly Mono themed internal competition, with nearly seventy images entered, was held via Zoom and judged by the members from the comfort of their own homes, using an app on their phones to mark each entry with a score from 1 to 5. The overall winner was The Jazz Singer by Barry Barnes and equal third were Great Egret [Dan Willis] and Spectacular Beauty [Jen Barnes].

We had an entertaining and instructive evening listening to and learning from Keith Barber CPAGB LRPS FIScT, who judged the seventy–seven images entered into this month's DPI competition. Congratulations to Jen Barnes for her image Disaster Strikes, chosen by Keith as the overall winner and congratulations also goes to Jen's husband Barry for his image Blue Lily, which also scored twenty point. Well done to the other high-scorers, commiserations to all the other entrants and a big thanks to Keith for giving his time and expertise. Everyone gained a lot from the evening.
